This large bowl was turned from a section of Sycamore I picked up from Ormsary Sawmill on the Kintyre Peninsular. I'd been using it as a seat in my workshop for nearly 12 years before finally getting round to doing something with it. I'd say it was worth the wait. The spalting is quite pronounced and the general colour pattern ranges from golden to light brown. Measures 405mm x 158mm.
