Masks and gloves will be supplied. The workshop has full dust extraction (to another room). There is also a micro clean filter for particulate dust. There are two entrances to the workshop that can be left open. All tools and machines will be alcohol cleaned prior to use.

Let's get turning your first project.
Lunch.
Turn a small bowl which you can take home with you.
All timber and health & safety equipment supplied.
Includes lunch, tea & coffee whenever you need a break.

Day 2;

Pretty flexible but you'll turn something a bit more challenging putting into practice
the skills learned on day 1.

This course is one to one (unless you are taking advantage of the second person discount) which is by far the best way to start woodturning. You can learn at your own speed without feeling under any pressure. I’ll push you a little but it’s your course at your pace. You’ll be surprised how quickly you can learn the basics.

My heated workshop has 2 lathes, a Hegner HDB 200XL and a VB 36 Master Bowlturner. Dust extraction out to an adjoining store with Micromesh ceiling filter.
