Beautifuly figured burr oak harvested from a fallen oak tree in Kilmichael forest just along from my workshop.
I suppose this is technically a cross between a closed form and a hollow vessel. Turned to include the three natural voids and burned to give some contrast. Measuring 360mm x 140mm.
